Supalight versions are also available for some applications which offer a further reduction in weight and inertia. TTV lightweight billet steel flywheels are available to suit standard the style clutch or a 7 1/4" race clutch. The result of this is instant throttle response, better acceleration, quicker gear changes and increased engine braking. The lightweight construction offers a much lower inertia which gives more available power at the driven wheels. Although lighter than the original flywheel, the TTV flywheels retain the same depth for the clutch area giving strength and reliability. TTV lightweight flywheels are machined from billet steel and feature an integral ring gear. Suitable For Competition Or Fast Road Use.This is also available in a single disc package for the ZF. It's a 215mm twin disc with cerametallic plates with 4 pads each.Compatible with OEM throwout bearings, it will feel similar to OEM.It's a 230mm disc with cerametallic plates with 5 pads. This is still a street kit, but for weekend cars IMO. Compatible with OEM or equivalent clutches. The design was engineered to have the lowest inertia possible, while meeting regulations. It's a single mass design homologated for GrandAm regulations. This weights 8.9 kg, heavier than their usual street flywheel at 5.3kg, stock is 10.9kg.This should be a mild street kit due to the higher weight. This one is very interesting and I'm thinking about documenting it next Spring. Those are compatible with the OEM 240mm clutches. ![]() From single seaters formula cars to drag racing, all of their products are made from chromoly steel. They work closely with teams, engine builders and tuners around the world in a process of continuous improvement, with high qualityf standards. The previously curated kits were the S54's 420G street flywheel and the ZF street flywheel. TTV Racing designs and manufactures forged steel flywheels for all types of motorsport applications. This complete kit weights as much as a stock S85 flywheel. They made the flywheels out of carbon forged steel, and the clutch casing is billet aluminum. The kit is rebuildable for usually 50% of the original kit's price should you ever wear it out. It's a clever, lightened, extremely well built kit that reduces clutch & usable flywheel surface, yet retains the OE clutch feel with the functionality of a twin disc and Genuine BMW throwout bearing compatibility and is installed with S55 crankshaft bolts. The inspiration came from the recently introduced lightweight GS6 transmission package for the S65 and S85. Send me a DM here or on IG to chat about it.
